Mara Quinn, Founder and Curator
Mara Quinn is the founder and head curator of LISTENTEE. She is the person who decides whether a design is sharp enough to print or needs another pass. A lifelong doodler with a soft spot for puns that earn a groan and a grin, Mara started LISTENTEE from a cramped apartment desk with a single rule. Every shirt has to feel like it came from a real human with a real sense of humor.
Her Eye for Original
Mara's job is to keep LISTENTEE honest. She reviews every concept for originality, makes sure nothing leans on someone else's brand or characters, and pushes each idea until it actually says something. If a design feels too safe, too familiar, or too easy, she sends it back. The goal is a catalog where every tee could only have come from this studio, never a copy of anything you have seen before.
What Drives Her
She is fueled by the moment someone reads a shirt across a coffee shop and cannot help but smile. For Mara, clothing is a low key way to share a joke, a value, or a vibe with the world. She believes wit should be kind, art should be original, and quality should be obvious the second you touch the fabric. Those beliefs shape everything that makes it into the LISTENTEE lineup.
